Ping Pong Party
Everyone deserves a little recreation. Many of the less fortunate place this luxury at the bottom of their wish lists, but St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters quickly spins this to the top.
In addition to feeding and counseling the poor, St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters provides opportunities for young and old alike to participate in recreational activities. The "Ping Pong Party" is designed for over 200 families to spend an afternoon of friendly competition and eat a healthy lunch at Spin New York. This new ping pong parlor located on East 23rd Street is a family friendly spot with plenty of tables for playing and comfortable seating for spectators. Teams quickly choose to play one-on-one, in doubles, or in fast paced tournaments. Lunch is served buffet style to all, adding to the relaxed atmosphere of a great afternoon which they would never experience without our help.
